About CNW Construction
I bring over 38 years of construction experience to CNW CONSTRUCTION. I have worked in the construction industry since 1971.
I moved to the Northwest in 1971 and worked as a Carpenter & Ironworker on several Hi-Rise buildings doing reinforced concrete work as well as structural steel. In 1978, I returned to college at Mt. Hood Community College, Gresham, Oregon in the evenings and received my AA in Architecture in 1979. I then entered P.C.C. & Portland State University again taking night classes and received my BS Degree in Civil Engineering. While at Portland State, I also studied Geo - Technical Engineering & surveying.
I have been self employed for over 30 years as a General Contractor in the Portland Area building 64 custom homes, a town home project in Hood River, Oregon, and large commercial and industrial projects (largest was the $4,000,000.00 Clackamas Town Center Apartments). My capabilities extend from preparing the initial estimate through writing subcontracts and physically overseeing the work in the field.
I have a real desire and ability to see that a job is completed on schedule and within the budget, while keeping everyone satisfied with the finished project.
